At Webarena we believe that we have a responsibility to care for those in our community, and our environment. We work with various charities and organisations to achieve these ends and promote these cause where we can.

Once such initiative is to be a carbon conscious company by supporting I Walk Green and donate a tree for every website built by Webarena. Please read below about the I Walk Green program. 
 

I Walk Green

iwalkgreen.com has taken up the cause to promote a carbon conscious state of mind for companies and individuals.

Our primary objective is to create an increased awareness of being carbon conscious! We want to show that it is not only necessary for the planet, but is modern, funky, fun and cool!
Our main activity is to encourage you to make your own contribution to restoring the planet by supporting the planting of trees on a global basis.
Our secondary objective is to build a community of like-minded companies and individuals and allow them to share their experiences and passion together.

iwalkgreen.com promotes the opportunity of planting trees to support a carbon conscious mindset. We will coordinate this activity on your behalf, with tree planting companies from around the world. The Tree Planting Projects are based on agro forestry and include India, Philippines, Brazil, Haiti, Honduras and African Countries that include Kenya, Cameroon, Ghana, Tanzania and Zambia.

Our tree planting companies engage local people to grow, plant, water and maintain the trees. This has a positive secondary effect of supporting local communities and creating micro-economies.
 

Ronald McDonald House

Ronald McDonald House is an independent, non-profit organisation, that helps seriously ill children and their families when they need it most. They were founded in memory of McDonald's creator, Ray Kroc, who believed in charitable works as a way of putting something back into the community.

McDonald's Australia pays all administration and management costs of RMHC and are a generous donor, the rest of the essential funds they require they raise themselves.

Members of the community volunteer their time to help out by preparing meals for the families staying at Ronald McDonald House. Webarena staff were proud to assist in this area and recommend all businesses and their staff to assist where they can to this fantastic charity.
